Seller Terms

Overview
JungleVault is an authenticated resell marketplace. We purchase verified sneakers, apparel, electronics, jewelry, and accessories directly from individuals and collectors. These Seller Terms govern the relationship between JungleVault and any person submitting items for consideration.

Submission Process

Submit via form
Provide item title, description, asking price, and photos (minimum 4, maximum 10). High-resolution images of all angles, tags, and serial numbers are strongly recommended.
- 2.
Initial review
Our buying team reviews submissions within 5 business days. We assess category fit, condition, market demand, and authenticity indicators.
- 3.
Offer or rejection
If interested, we will contact you by email with a purchase offer. Offers are valid for 7 days. If we decline, you will receive a brief reason.
- 4.
Authentication & physical inspection
If you accept our offer, ship the item to our address. Our authenticators inspect and verify the item within 3 business days of receipt.
- 5.
Payment
If the item passes authentication, payment is sent within 5 business days via bank transfer (SEPA). If the item fails authentication, it will be returned at our cost.
Acceptance Criteria
We accept items that meet all of the following criteria:
- —Authentic — no replicas, fakes, or unauthorised reproductions
- —Complete — original tags, box, accessories, or laces where applicable
- —Condition — deadstock (DS), near-new, or lightly used; no major defects
- —Category — streetwear, sneakers, electronics (consumer), jewelry, or accessories
- —Provenance — seller must be able to provide proof of purchase or receipt on request
JungleVault reserves the right to decline any submission at its sole discretion, including items outside our current buying focus.
Document Requirements
To comply with anti-money laundering regulations (Wwft) and for high-value items (above €500), JungleVault may request:
- —Proof of identity: copy of passport or Dutch ID card
- —Proof of purchase: original receipt, invoice, or order confirmation
- —Bank account details (IBAN) for payment processing
Documents are collected securely and retained only as long as legally required (see Data Handling below).

Pricing & Negotiation
Offers are based on current market data, condition, and our buying capacity. We do not match prices from other platforms. If your asking price significantly exceeds our offer, we may decline or propose a counter-offer at our discretion.
All prices are in EUR. VAT obligations (if applicable) are the responsibility of the seller, particularly for commercial or frequent sellers who may be considered businesses under Dutch law.
Data Handling for Seller Information
Personal data collected during the seller submission process is processed on the legal basis of contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR — Wwft compliance).
- —Submission data (descriptions, photos): retained for 2 years after last activity
- —Identity documents (if collected): retained for 5 years (Wwft)
- —Payment records: retained for 7 years (Dutch tax law — AWR)
- —Rejected submissions: descriptions and photos deleted after 90 days

Governing Law
These Seller Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.
